Dionissios (Dennis) Vovos has spent a lifetime crafting his unique jewellery pieces in several countries around the world.

His designs are highly sought after and Dennis Vovos has made custom-designed rings for Liberace and for Sammy Davis Jnr. He worked in San Diego, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Hawaii and on the Greek Island of Hydra, before settling in Tasmania in 1990.

When Dennis Vovos first settled in Hobart he traded as D’aurum Jewellery, before giving his business his own name – a name that is recognised by discerning clients around the world.

The yacht

From May to August each year, Dennis Vovos travels through Europe, gathering inspiration for his unique jewellery designs.

During those warm European summer months he also spends many weeks sailing his yacht around the Mediterranean, visiting the islands of his native Greece.

Based at the Greek Island of Symi, the yacht can comfortably accommodate eight people.
